I had never really pondered the question: Do I have too much time on my hands? Until tonight...
I was at a craft store this past weekend and at check out, I saw a basket of $1 items. Who the heck can resist those?? I think these little box kits are hysterical, and have never really tried my hand at painting a masterpiece - what would I have to lose? Well, I think the answer to that is plain...dignity.
What simply made me giggle the most is the expectation that I had. Gotta say I was feeling optimistic! The kits instructions to achieve the colors used in the originals were simple (and I quote) "Mix the paints to match these colors". Uh hu... For a buck - totally worth my time!
